Taiwan - Day 8 Taipei -> Singapore woke up early. got morning call 5.45. gathered at lobby 6.30am. had breakfast on coach. can tt marcus don walk ard.. cos i dont quite lik e cologne smell of his. i have been smelling tt for 8 days. i din eat e bread n apple. e lemon drink is nice. nt very sweet. reach airport 45 mins later. marcus went of first to help us get our boarding passes. he took a very long time.. we were stuck in front of e check in counter. bhind us.. we spotted people e handcruffs. criminals? illegal immigrants. we saw e reporter huangzhihao. n his kid n wife. aftr a long time we check in out luggage. and uncle told us e trick to magic ring. we waited for our luggage to check in.. marcus was complaining 'Soo tired!!' den had a small chat e him la. [can he remove his sunglasses i don let to tok to pple wearing sunglasses. cant see their eyes.] he slept at 3+am.. return hotel at midnight. no wonder we call him he nv ans phone.. nt in rm. he ask y we call. cos he nv tell us wad time morn call n wad time to gather. he tot jacky told us. no lo. tt night at shilin we din went back together w them. bid farewell to jacky. i'll rmb his eng is lan4. he cant pronounce marcus. he keep callin him marcs. when he first call him tt.. i tot it's e driver name. lols. maybe we can call him jacks. =x our tour grp sit at e back of e plane. near toilet wor. marcus sat very in front. we cant see him.. den when this air stewardess ask if we did change seats [marcus rearranged us] cos some of us cant eat beef. den e uncle bhind me told her to go find our tour leader. uncle say wear green yi fu de.. e stewardess looked at me. cos i was wearing green jacket. exactly e shade of marc shirt. nt me la of course. brought her to marcs. luckily i see whr he sit. e others dunno. reach changi.. no ear block no pain.. yay!! my parents go buy wine n beer. me n my sis went to tak out luggage. we have 5 luggage to tak including a box. marcs asked us wad we doing. -.-''' taking luggage. if nt wad. duh. he lik small kid keep complainin whr my luggage.. whr's my luggage. he have only one. a big one. stuff everythg inside. he brought 2 shoes along lor. = 3 shoes to wear in 8 days. yuck shoes put together w food. when he got his luggage he so happy. he yay-ed. and he stick out his tongue to me smiling. errr.. -.- i stick back. den he said bye take care see ya soon. blahhs. but he still have to wait for my parents ma.. haha.. our tour grp got pple lost thgs.. so he n e old couple went to lost n found to report. and he came back.. ask whr our parents. go buy wine lo. when they finally came.. he said e same thg again.. lols. bye tc c ya. marcSS's quite a good leader. haha we took cab home. jet lag. sleep.   i wanna go tw again. to places like taizhong. kending. kaoshiung. taipei is a must!! i love e food. i love e place. e people are friendly too.. they reallie explain to u how to get to one place. even thou they are rushin for time.jacky haven complete his history class w us.. he told us abt chiang kai shek.. blahhs.. i din even listen. he always chui mian me when he tok. but he is one of the best tour guide in tw. on newspaper b4.. lols. we din noe tt until e man in e lingzhi shop told us. tonight i'm leaving for yunnan. Taiwan - Day 7 Taipei - Free day had breakfast at hotel.. den went to tak train.. e train stn toilet is nice.. went to computer street but 10+ only. nt open yet. must wait till 11+. den we went to tak e train to see scenery. i was napping. dunno y so tired. den went to eslite bookstore. near tp101. it's a biggest bookstore in tw. one whole building w 7 storeys. first few levels are foodcourt, shopping.. the other all books. it's so nice. btr den pageone or kino. e environment is so suitable for reading. can spent e whole day thr. e toilet are fab. auto. open e door n the toilet seat will open automatically. quite scary actually. and e seat is kept warm. haha.. i bought 3 books. cos it's cheap. one book cost 7+ dollars nia.    [beef noodles.. e one jacky recommend ar chuifen is lots nicer.] [i lik e stn got art price n most imptly got rubbish bins.]den went to wufenpu.. shopping area. wholesale.. pple usually get goods frm thr n tak it other place to sell. e place is big until u will get lost. cos too many small streets..   took train back to ximending. explore.. ate qilixiang = chicken butt.[i lik it very much].. mister donut. very nice. e double choc one is fab. din buy anythg la.. dunno wad to buy.. and i lazy to try clothes. ximending is big. i dont think we finish exploring. thou it's night it's nt as packed as i tot it wud be. students lingered thr til very late.      we take away mianxian.. and duck heart, duck wing, some pig internal organ etc. it's already late night.i wanna go ximending again. first time there we saw those people w food trolley escaping from police.. they ran into e alley, police car cant go in [or they already lazy to go in].. den when police gone they run out again. cute la. and i finally got to go mei gui chang pian hang. haha. i got to eat chicken butt. and also saw this scary crazy man hitting e telephone booth scolding.. reallie mental. slept aftr watching weixiao pasta.. last night at tw.. i'm startin to miss e food. n 7-11.. bought flh's cclemon and bbt [xiaoyu] melon le tea. hehe.. Taiwan - Day 6 Taipei aftr breakfast we went to chiang kai shek memorial hall [zhong zhen ji nian tang] jacky told us abit if history.. e morn traffic in taipei is scary.. more scooters than cars. e road is packed w scooters. no where u'll see such sight in sg. we took a grp photo at e memorial hall. marucs was looking at us younger ones say 'younger ones squat in front. he shake his hand ask me go over.. but in e end. i stand behind.. hehe.. e memorial hall nth la. super sunny. cant open my eyes.  [tw's drinks hav interestin name. lik this shui guan ni = who cares]      [near e memorial hall. such stuff don happen in sg.]den we went national palace museum. [gu gong] e world's largest assemblage of priceless chinese art treasures.. jacky brought us ard.. explaining stuff.. but i not tt interested in him talking [whenever he start to speak in e coach, i wil sleep. lik chui mian] so i lingered at e back of e grp.. and keep knocking into marcus. he always suddenly appear behnd me de leh.. interesting stuff in e musuem. thr was this super super small hand crafted acessories need magnifyin glass to see e details of e craft work. den we had abt 20mins of free time. thr was this sudden influx of jap tourists. we were surrounded by them. marcus beofre tt told a few of us so many jap tourists here cos last time tw under japan. they are here to see their wadever stuff.   [this lao beibei slp le. but he nt from our grp.. some china man i think]we had lunch at wu jiao chuan ban. a restaurant w theme. artistic restaurant. so my dad lingered behind e grp to tak photos. ah ma walk slow slow cos the way to entrance is a steep slope. marcus of course bhind too. me too. the other in front walk so fast. i lik e door. lik entering some palace. when we went into e restaurant we still can see e others walking to second flr. den i help ah ma up e stairs. wait fer her to tak a breather at e top of e stairs. reach 2nd flr. the others disappeared. cant see them at 2nd flr but nt confirm they're at 3rd flr. ask marc whr are they. he also dunno.. he still ask me are they here [at 2nd flr]. -.- so he went up to check n tell us they're upstairs. poor ah ma have to climb 2 more flights of stairs. e food is so-so only. but e plates n bowls n cups are so pretty. can bring back sg? e toilet is very unique too. but e cubicle door too heavy le bah.. aftr lunch more photos to tak.. we took sucha long time marcus began to chase us back e coach. my parents lik so blur dunno why is e coach. and i'm e one who's blind. i dunno how to cross tw road. i look left wait for car to passby.. i forgot i still need to look right. cross half of e road and realise got car come. so i ran.. and i can hear marcus shouting 'WATCH OUT WATCH OUT'. if he din shout i wun get scared. it's because he shout until i'm going to knock down e next sec i got xia dao. and ran lik mad woman. i need more eyes.  [e outside of e restaurant, in e pic is a sculpture of a dancing woman]    next we hurried to Martyr's Shrine.. to watch e changing of guard' ceremony. reminded me of bb's fancy drill. aftr e ceremony we gathered bhind one of e guard. uncle ask me to look at e guard's ears. i saw. it's disgusting. cos e weather is too hot n with sucha uni they wore. they were sweating lik hell.. dripping. reallie dripping. lik aftr u bathe n nv dry ur hair. uncle ask marcus to see. he said of course la the weather so hot uni so thick[who dunno of course la but it's erxin ma] den he say he last time air force [he said tt b4 le] den train for ndp guard of honour for 6 mths just for 9 august. he still told us at tt time standing u can only do 1 thg. we said together wriggle ur toes [i sjab de leh.] den he say his sweat also... lols. i was thinking e worse is e sweat drip into ur eyes. cannot move wor. so xin ku.      next stop at fisherman's wharf [tam shui u ren ma tou]. filming site of 'meteor rain'. when marc said tt i told him actually i have no ying xiang of e drama filming here. so long ago.. he ya la-ed. i only noe e new drama 'tian shi qing ren' filimed part of the first epi here. whr mingdao wear e spiderman costume n ran to e brigde [qing ren qiao] to save a girl. e sun is too big. i cant open my eyes. my mum n marcus win le.. have sunglasses. it's a very good place to watch sunset. but we hav no time to wait for tt. s.h.e having concert here on 2nd june [i'm back in sg] wth. hmph.  [tt's marcus sleepin on bus w sunglasses on. he always slp den can see his head frm vertical drop to horizontal. sometimes lik wan to fall off e chair onto e aisle]  [my sis n i n marcus on qingren bridge. my mum took this pic when we are nt even ready.we shouted hao sai.. e sun is blindin my eyes.]    [e male toilet sign. i laf until peng. it shud be gentlemen not gentle.]board e bus marcus exclaimed 'very VERY HOT' i was lik u toking to me? summer in tw is rather unbearable for tourists. we moved on to tamshui old street. bought fish crackers lik it's free. ate tall tall ice cream. e chocolate flavour is so rich.. vanilla taste funny. we later tried a strawberry one. i still prefer chocolate. my mum n sis keep insisting my dad n i walk wrong way.. we insisted we're right. and we indeed right. saw a sanrio shop.. but stuff sure very ex.. e place nt tt big.. when we board e bus.. i kena top prize. again. wth. impact too big i got abit dizzy.. exclaimed 'wo yun le' marcus heard tt [he got sharp ears] i think he tot i carsick [huhhs?] den i sae i zhuang dao again. top prize? ya. how lucky can i get.   den jacky brought us to buy feng li su.. it's this very small bakery.. so when e whole grp went in. e place is packed. i lingered back cos i don lik e tart smell. too milky. den we go to shilin night market.. told marcus n jacky we go back ourselves.. can shop later ma.. no need to rush.  we ate e oyster omelette, duck blood. da bing bao xiao bing. da chang bao xiao chang. guan cai ban.. white bitter gourd juice.. huazhi geng. etc. e duck blood is e best. cant nv taste it in sg. den we went across the road to this area whr lotsa stuff to shop. my mum n i were choosing tees.. when suddenly everyone close their suitcase [used to put tees] n disappear. i was still holding e tee.. police came so those illegal stall nidda run. but i place back e tee just in time. stupid right i shud have just grab n go. their actn fast lik lightnin. within 2 seconds e road is empty. in e end we bought tees. n went to explore e place. got this chong wu jie [pet street] all sell pets. cats n dogs.. i shud sae puppies.. uber cute. n it's cheaper den sg bah.. can i buy home one?we went back hotel by train.. from jiantan to ximending. reach hotel still nidda go marcus's room get our stuff [fish cracker n pineapple tarts. alot] my parents din noe wad rm he is at. lols. luckily i noe. e previous nite i saw him n jacky walkin to their rm and i vaguely rmbered he said 608. but we don dare ring his bell. sekali wrong how? so my dad shouted MARCUS! did we press e bell i forgot but marcus did open e door. and pass us our stuff. he kidded we don wan to check if got fenglisu missing anot. jacky was lying on his stomach on his bed watching tv. both haven bathe yet. eeyer. tot they came back 2 hrs b4 us. den marc say come to our rm latr to collect tips. he came over at 12+.. bathe le la.. i open e door for him.. and almost laf out. he was wearing shorts so can see his legs.. super white. lik some albino. =x and there's this aftr bathe smell on him tt i don lik. eee.      i miss hualien.. haha.. n taitung. for the past 2 days jacky brought us to places i hate. those lingzhi/deer placenta w e foetus shop, pearl powder shop, shop tt sell bixiu[??]/tianlu etc. [more of fengshui] they keep psyco-ing us to buy. wth. so ex la. when we don buy they nt shuang. it so obvious we don wan.. aftr e talk we all wud gather at e entrance. den jacky still sit thr smoking. time's nt up yet bahhs. why they lik to smoke. even in aircon rm. e pearl powder shop is most scary.. u nv buy their face change immdiately. e entire grp gathered at e entrance don thr go elsewhr.e tianlu shop.. they talk until i almost slept. i sit at e last row easier to escape. immediately aftr e talk everyone siam-ed. haha.. e tianlu is just e lion looking lik thg to keep owner safe. only family member of owner n owner can touch it. small one lik those keychain cos NT$6,888. jacky has one. marcus has one in his bag too. he showed it to uncle my mum sis n b4, on e bus.. tt time he told us alot of stuff. LKY believes alot in fengshui.. and why ferris is built at tt location, which directn it wil turn. why IR built thr. the fountain of wealth [suntec], why water flow inwards nt lik other fountains. and tt when we go in e fountain to go ard e thg it actually it's nt to give us wealth. blahhs. alot bout fengshui and LKY. it's lik having a small fengshui class in e bus. e uncle also noe quite alot. lols. but i hate such shops. make me sleep. and not assif i will get psyco-ed. Taiwan - Day 5 Hualian -> Taipei morn left early for Nantien Temple.. cos it's quite a long way.. we got to go 7-11 to buy snacks n go toilet. ya.. my fav flh n she. i see them almost everyday. took some photos discreetly cos got other pple ard.. i don wan to look lik some crazy fan of them. there was this hello kitty activity goin on. NT$77 u get one sticker. got 10 stickers and u can exchange a small small hello kitty. my sis wants e h.k. so we ask marcus jacky n the others. marcus gimme 2 at first den ltr he dig out 1 more from his jeans.. jacky also gave.. e others also gave. marcus sure have alot. he bought so many tidbits. in e 7 day tour he consumed at least 4 packets of lays potato chip. tw lays packaging smaller.      reached nantien temple. got 7-11 again. 7-11 is everywhr. every street has it. we go inside bai bai. 1st flr mazhuniangniang made of wood. 2nd flr made of jade. 3rd flr made of gold. e jade one is e nicest. outside e temple thr's this place whr pple can put firecrackers. it scared me. twice. i tot got explosion. everyone went in temple see see baibai den come out le. we are more interested in e food outside temple. one aunty bought pineapple [very sweet] den her husband bought one too.. so xin you ling xi.    marcus intro us to this huashengjuan+icecream. cos he see us stand thr nth to do.. looking at e flags outside e temple [spotted sg flag, marc kpo ask us wad we saw.] is super delicious. popiah skin sprinkled w peanuts n w 2 scoops of icecream [i forgot wad flavours got 2. yellow n purple but nt yam] when we buy finish le.. the entire tour grp [almost] came n see wad we bought. jacky bought one too.. haha. good recommendatn, marcus. haha.  we proceeded to Chuifen [jiufen], filmin site of 'city of sadness'.. i nv c tt show b4. who cares wad movie is tt. e place is full of delicacies. we had our lunch thr. free time. we ate jacky's recommendation tw beef noodle. surprise surprise. jacky n marcus also eating beef noodles. e scenery is very err.. dunno how to say.. depressing? cos foggy foggy de. but beautiful la. we ordered 2 bowls. marcus ask us isit enough. of course nt but we still have other food to try wad. den ask us nice anot.. fei hua! nicer den nice. dont get to taste such tasty beefnoodles elsewhr. marcus recommend e fish/meatballs.. we ate tt too.. super big sized balls. bigger den last time nyjc fishballs. quite special. e taste e ingredients inside.  [7-11 again]   we walked further down.. more food. got ikanbilis. sausages etc. e sausage nt normal sausage. made frm fish n got fish roe. den got sotong sausage too. e fish roe one is special n can feel e roe burstin in ur mouth. and we met this auntie selling huashengsu etc.. super friendly. she blabbered for quite a while. bought 3 packets frm her. she treat us water cos we're singaporeans [means she can communicate e us. she cant speak jap] we ate muahchees. yu4 yuan2 bing1. very q.. nt very sweet. cooling. we met marucs halfway told us to be careful cos in front got slippery slope. i was looking at wad he bought. haha. my mum bought e rectangular pieces of peanuts/sesame/nuts/almond. i dunno call wad.. cos she see marcus buy she also buy.. [cos he buy sure nice de ma]time almost up we went back to ah xin de dian [meeting pt] buy muahchees, jelly, tiedan [iron egg=ru3 dan4] buy 3 get one free. my parents go chose i sat down at e other side. =P everything packed into box. den marcus said let's go. we followed bhind him. suddenly my parents disappear. den marcus ask whr my parents. i told him maybe go take their stuff from e ahxindedian. den he go find e others ask me to help him look aftr his stuff. okie. i reallie wanted to see wad inside this pink plastic bag w hearts all over. but no guts ltr he suddenly come back. my parents actually went to buy ikanbilis. nt to tak thr stuff. den they came back [marc too] i ask them whr e box. they tot no need to tak by themselves. they sotong la. marucs also noe le.. lols. i still tell him parents go take box when they are buyin ikanbilis. omg. while waiting for bus. uncle showed us magic. [magic ring] we cant solve leh. jacky tried n tried n tot n tot but still cannot. marcus try also cannot. uncle himself sometimes do also fail.. [tt's when we all laf at him] board e bus we still thinking e method.     [yu yuan bing]we moved on to Shen Ken Tofu street[in taipei le]. nth much la.. food. we bought [alot] of this noughat looking lik thg. stay at tt stall try n buy try n buy. too many flavours. nt too sweet too. den we got fasinated by birds n their nest. e choutoufu is e nicest in e entire street. e chouchou sauce is stuck onto e tofu. it's e smelly sauce tt i lik. aftr eating so much stuff. we got so full.  we went Taipei 101. nth to shop inside cos cant afford. e opp newyorknewyork is much more affordable. can go all up 101 but e ticket is super ex. only like 4 went up. e surroundin is very nice. lik sg's cbd area. can reg placed whr some dramas were filmed. lik er4 mo2. we're finally in taipei e city. nt those countryside.. finally tall tall buildings. but i lik e previous days compared to e city. dinner at Rao He Night Market. bigger den LeoHe but food nt tt special. maybe cos we were too full.. dunno wad to eat. so we tried e fried chix, oyster omelette [i find it v nice, why so many sg pple don lik.. e red sauce is nice wad] i forgot wad we ate.. nth much la. too much time given by jacky. we walk lik 2 rounds ard e market. we went back to meeting point. jacky still trying e magic ring. he cracked his brain but still fail. haha..times up.. board e coach. and i got top prize = tou jiang. i knocked my head against e shelf above me.. too tall la. lik bounced back to my seat. suddenly got 3 hands on my head. mine dad n marc's. everyone on bus noe i got top prize. xiaoxin~~~ marcus jus knocked his forehead against e edge of e shelf last night aftr dinner. jacky ask him shelf got spoil anot. [he said e same thg to me. so bad~~] [anyway i notice marc's actn aftr knockin his head. he went to hit e edge twice, it's lik when kids knock smthg parents will hit e thg and say 'don cry tt thg bad bad ah..] maybe ystd i laf at him too much so today my turn.  pple reach hotel rest. we go out to ximending. of course aftr some rest la. aftr leader came and ask us if everythg okie. i v bad tell him i don lik e view.. he -.-''' den smile n say sorry cant do anythg.. of course i noe. e view is expressway wor. lik so eeeyer. n i don lik bathtub colour. blue. nt dark nt light blue. lik hospital dull blue.ximending is big. we walk lik 3 streets only.. din buy anythg. nt much pple. but still got students.. it's oredi past 10.30.. we ate ah zhong mian xian. 4 share one bowl. eat standing. i love it. btr den sg's.   [number 6 exit at xmd stn. popular place 4 pple to meet up, a new tw movie also based on this exit n xmd]reachin tp marks e end of mountain roads.. = no more windin road tt twist n turn n make me carsick. which means no more dvds to watch on coach. in the past few days.. we watch this tw movie 'mazhu niangniang'. lame. exaggerating. in a few scenes when people were killed innocently. my sis laf-ed so loud tt marcus turn n look at her lik asking why she laf. cos they die so unaturally. so fake. we also watch wu zhong xian's variety show. marcus's turn to laf loud. funny la.. but no need laf til lidat right. aftr tt marcus let us watch e dvds he brought. first one.. bout 1 woman n 2 men.. forgot film name. when e film get interestin. it stopped. dunno why.. quite a few of us lik 'huh disc spoil ah' ps ask marc to see wad's wrong.. cos he's asleep. his head already horizontal. i wondered if all his disc e same. he showed us this old film. also lidat. and no one is actually watching. all sleeping. marcus too. den shud be jacky who tot e show finish le and switch off e tv. a film tt's filmed 10+ yrs ago. who want to watch.. aiyo.. Taiwan - Day 4 Tai Tung -> Hua Lian aftr breakfast went walk walk.. my dad went outside e resort to tak photos. so left my mum sis n i.. and this dog keep following us.. scare me to death. e dog is sooo big. den i pounced onto my sis lap n clunged onto her. made her pants wet. i keep shouting for them to hurry up go into rm.. the dog too friendly le bah.   we all quite early.. gathered before e tour leader n guide came. the ah mas had a good nite sleep.. cos e bed is comfy n no bugs. board e coach.. marcus asked if we had a good slp.. my dad joked ahmas wan to bring e bed w them.. we headed for taroko national park.   we first went to e museum lik building. there was this map that showed e entire tw. den jacky explained whr we came from n tmr go whr.. and he say e journey to hl is 4 to 5 hrs. *pengz* marcus kept emphasizin it'll be winding rd those have car sick don sit thr quietly must tell him. mister can dont look at me while sayin this. i wil tel u de la. in doors u still wear sunglass for wad. shua3 shuai4 ah? den jacky brought us to see some pics of taroko. cos some places we cant go.. too dangerous. den he brought to see this video clip.. i sit down in e lecture rm.. feel like sleeping le. den e this man came n tok to us bout taroko. i tried so hard to keep my eyes open. den lights off video starts. i watched abit [pics v nice] den it starts to sound lik some sec sch sci/geo class and i slept. my head frm vertical become horizontal. tt's when i woke up. quite alot pple sleepin. can see heads nodding. even marcus is sleepin. his head is as horizontal as mine. he clever la wear sunglass so cant see his eyes. i cont to slp. until lights came on again. everyone woke up n stretched. haha. nice nap.   we finally got to see scenery.. hahah. tt's aftr e nap.. still at taroko.. e scenery is damn beautiful. our tour grp quite singapore today.. alot people wear red. marcus bside me, my sis, tt uncle n his wife n some ahmas too. jacky brought us ard e place. drink water from e mountain top. sweet n cooling. best thg bout e place is tt.. it's cooling nt humid or hot. my family e last grp.. cos wait for my dad to tak photos. marcus even asked if hez a pro photographer. hahah.. if we can go further in e scenery will be btr but too dangerous le. rocks may come fallin down n e coach is too big road too small..     [marcus took for us. he told us to move to our left cos angle nicer. nicer meh? e pole blocking la.]next we proceeded to seven star lake [qixingtan] it is a small bay beside e sea.. air base is just nearby. a very nice place. simple n tranquil. many pretty stones to pick too. nice food too. e sotong very deli. only our family went hear e waters and we discovered our hairs are standin. i first realise my dad's hair and laughed at him.. den realise we are all e same. nt e wind cos nt much wind. we stared at other pple's hair.. also e same. we went back to e carpark. marcus ask us what happen [cos we're laughing] and we showed n told him. he laughed n say 'oh ya, others also lidat' but he dunno why too.. but for him his hair wun stand bah. too much gel. =x why will our hair stand? too much static? but why?       [our standing hairs]after which we went to a-mei aboriginal cultural village.. watch them perform. i din sleep wor. even thou my eyelids almost closing cos e china people pissed me off. someone is smoking. i wanted to move up but ps stand up in e middle of e show. n our tour leader sitting bhind too. why people smoke in air coned rm. kaoz. aftr performance we went for dinner at this restaurant. have been having similar food for e past few dinners. can see san cheng rou every dinner. e meat is 3/4 fat n 1/4 meat. but it tastes good. on e coach jacky was telling us bout next day's programme and he tao tao bu jue abt pearl powder. we reach restuarant le still toking. i tot he wanted to say finish before letting us alight. i noe we reached cos marcus which is just infront carry his slingbag le. all waiting for jacky to finish talking. suddenly he tok halfway turn backwards and realise we reached. lols. he tot waiting for red light. he din noe we've reached. we all laughed at him. blur sotong. no wonder he keep toking. dinner food was okie. marcus say our table seems to lik fish alot. ehh.. nt reallie. everyone is abit lazy to eat e fish cos quite troublesome. but i love tw rice. jacky say no 7-11 nearby but my parents went to one.. lols. marcus came to check on us.. e rm la.. to see if everyting's okie.. i tot my parents ringing e doorbell.. luckily my hair not lik siao char bo.. =x Labels: Tour @ 1:12 PM
Taiwan - Day 3 Kaoshiung -> Tai Tung woke up early.. after breakfast went outside walk walk.. the farm is damn big la. there's this small musuem, and this place whr some animals were kept. and birds too.. sooo many birds.. like bird park. den rush back cos time to gather le.. so many slopes.. we took our luggage and board e bus.. many of us in e grp are so glad to leave e place.. many aunties cant sleep cos too many insects crawling ard.. eee..            first stop for e day : Fo Kuang Shan.. e buddhist center of tw whr hundreds of gilded Buddha images stand in line.. we reach thr lik almost 11.. it was drizzling.. jacky n marcus no umbrellas.. so these aunties/ahmas.. were offering them their brollies.. lik they were their sons.. while waiting for rain to be less heavy.. thr was this wishing well ard.. one auntie hav no coin so borrowed coin frm marcus.. auntie wan to return him money marcus say no need.. so they tui lai tui qu for quite a while.. ltr he drop his coin rolled near my feet but i din noe it rolled to me.. quite a funny sight to see him bendin down to look for coin. my mum say wah.. qian tai duo ah..   jacky brought us ard e place.. he sae fokuangshan is always hot.. even in winter.. e place is still hot. dunno why lidat.. we climb many stairs again.. look at all e buddha images.. quite a grand sight. as usual my family n e couple are e last.. e others already dunno go whr le.. marcus waved to us from so far.. if i never see him think we'll all stay thr for few mins.. can he pls call us.. instead of wavin when acutally no one is looking at him. we went inside this big statue.. it's reallie beautiful inside but cant tak pics..   aftr tt we went to this resting area whr we can drink this tea.. forgot was tea isit. but jacky sae this ta is brewed every morn n this monk will come chant.. so we took a cup of tea n sat down listening to jacky tell story.. i rmb he told us abt e ah mi tuo fo story. whr this small monk ah mi save this beggar which is actually a shen xian.. e road to this resting area is rather steep. if u roll down, u miss this area n roll all e way down e hill. quite fun eh.. [jacky w marucs behind. e ah ma smile till so cute] [we were laughing n sayin this is ah mi the xiao he shang.jacky heard us n lafed too] [walking to another temple. e grd is wet but very hot.. can feel e heat.]  [we were e last family so saw this big grp of i dunno who walking past. marcus thr to wait for us. we're e vips.. =X]aftr fo kuang shan we had lunch just outside e place.. halfway my dad spilled hot tea onto my bag n hand n lap.. luckily not boiling tea.. else it'll be very pain. so my bag is wet n my pants are wet.. next we proceeded to taitung's hon yeh hot spring. e bus journey is few hours.. and aftr a full lunch. i sit bus. die. sure car sick. i got so giddy.. and ltr headache n felt lik vomitting. some of us did went to e hot spring.. 39.3 degrees. those who din had a free drink. i drank hot coffee.. very nice..   we sat outside.. more fresh air.. not so stuffy. den marcus came and told us our rm nos for tonight's resort. he noe i car sick.. lols.. his reaction abit big. huhhs.. why u nv tell me!?!?!? now okie anot? latr bus journey lik 1 hr+.. when i heard this i tot i wud faint. i huhhed so loud.. =/ he asked jacky n driver and came back n say got new rd so only 15-20min. tt's btr.  reached master bear resort ard early evening. e bus journey still okie.. unloading was a prob.. cos e day b4 marcus already told us to pack wad we need for this night into a bag so no need tak out luggage. but most of e pple tot he meant 4 e hotspring. so spent time unloading again.. haiyo.. e rm is super nice. it's a house w 3 rms.. 2rms n toilet on 2nd flr. living rm a bedrm n toilet on first flr. very nice. bed is big too.. marcus gimme a big shock. i came out frm toilet and he is just outside.. he came to tell us to close window.. blahs.. suddenly appear scare me lik hell. luckily i wasn't singing or wad. den later went out see e surroundings. my dad force me to ride bike. cannot leh.. too stupid bahhs. and e road to rocky.. i scare if i fall.. e rest of e tour i no need walk le.   dinner food was deli but i only ate 3 mouths of rice.. got a bad headache. felt lik vomitting. i noe if i eat more i will vomit. had this experience b4. my dad say den tmr must get motion sickness pill frm marcus le. went back rm rest m eat panadol [slp awhile too] b4 going to e guang2chang3.. got gathering n games. e yuan zhu ming [i dunno which zhu2] dance.. taught us how to dance. i cant differentiate zuo and you.. [left n right] e tour leaders n giudes shud join in lo.. instead of watching us chu chou. we get to fang kong3 ming2 deng1.. den put fireworks too.. scary but pretty.. marcus keep asking us to move back.. aftr fireworks. we get to eat muahchee. freshly made. very q.. very nice.. jacky sang song.. not bad sia..  den my sis wan to ride bike.. so my dad zai4 wo.. haha.. passby e others.. den marcus was saying my dad shud give my mum a ride nt me.. lols.. den we say i dunno how to ride bike.. hez reactn: oh no! *clutchin his head* [my god.. can u be funnier? hahah] den no choice.. haha.. we rode back aftr toking to him. got this mineral water swimming pool and can diao4 yu2.. and got karaoke.. not bad la..go back rm bathe.. watch mtv.. mo fan bang bang tang n wo ai hei se hui.. i lik guigui but so shock went they went to her house.. so messy!! she's still pretty w/o makeup. bbt's showing e boys invention. william inventn is so obasang n so ugly. no one wants to buy his inventn. poor thg. there's this boy forget who.. invented a cap tt chase away flies n mosquitoes. but e zhu chi ren say e cap is even more irritating den flies. lols. true. slept late. din wan to switch off e lights but cos got some insects flyin.. so off it. others also switch off le.. cept for e tour leader n guide's room. they dont switch off lights when sleeping? Taiwan - Day 2 Xiao Liu Qiu Island woke up before morn call.. had a not v nice breakfast [too many china pple tt talk too loud].. and this china man dunno how he sit.. den we went outside walk walk.. their scooters v cute. den went to family mart see see look look.      we set off for xiaoliuqiu ard 9.. nidda take ferry to e island. bout 30min journey. was actually sitting inside e cabin.. once e ferry start to move.. i bth. went outside. marcus n jacky also thr. i can get sea sick. n car sick.. cant stand properly cos e ferry is quite shaky. was so relieve when we reach. we were supposed to take e glass bottom boat to see e corals ard e island.. den this woman.. very fierce.. say she reach first so her tour grps board e ferry first nt us.. n she gt like dunno how grps.. jacky scared of her.. cos she got loudspeaker n still screaming lik some siao char bo. so jacky sae he bring us go walk ard e island.. super hot day.. and no shelter for us to hide. all sweating like hell.. but i find e houses thr very cute.. simple life. they dont even nid to tk e key out of their scooters.. there's only 6 police in e island. one police stn. many temples. their te chan is dried cuttlefish. my dad saw this dried up blown up puffer fish on e grd. i went over to see.. den follwed by marcus den my sis. can make into fish floss.. hahaha..   [somehows it reminds me of e 7 eleven ad e Flh n SHE]den we had lunch at 11+.. jacky say lunch early to avoid e other tour grps.. e meal nt bad la.. but everyone ps eat alot.. so still have quite alot of food left. jacky told us to bring e leftover drinks [in bottle] e us.. he took one himself. den we sit e so called glass bottom boat. jacky negotiated like quite long we tot nidda wait again. den marcus went to see wad's going on.. while waiting for them.. some islander ask us to cuttlefish from her. finally can board e boat. got air con.. phew.. 30min ride. at first nth.. den into deeper waters.. can see corals and small fishes.. thou e corals nt colourful.. but still quite nice.. n there's alot alot of corals.. woah. last 5-10min.. jacky say can go upper deck see scenery tak photos..      [say cheese!] aftr ferry ride.. go sit bus.. bring us to e 3 rock ares [coral sculpted by wave actn].. which are like some nature walks.. first site beauty cave still okie.. haven faint yet.. nidda climb some steps.. go inside small caves.. 2nd site black devil cave.. those ah mas. already fainting. super hot okie. i'm sweating lik dunno wad.. we get to see pple selling corals.. n hermit crabs.. marcus was telling me this hermit crab.. alamak i noe la. a few of us climb into this small cave tt is super narrow n small. have to sit down n move.. jacky went in w torchlight den this family went in.. father mothr n small sis came out b4 they start cos v small.. den my mum den my sis n me.. actually still got whole grp of pple bhnd me.. suddenly one go out everyone go out.. left me.. e last. which is v jialat. cos no torch. i used my hp.. uncle help me take m bag out. thanks.. i was screaming wait for me.. jacky pass e torch to my mum.. den they all go so fast.. i cant see a thg. totally blackness. super narrow. don thnk marcus can get thru easily. haha.. =X but e cave quite clean la. at least i don have a black butt when i came out. last site shan zhu gou.. actually nth. nth much to see.. after climbin e steps a few of us ordered drinks.. cos it's super sunny n hot. there's this berry drink v nice.            after e stone area we went to beach.. v nice scenery.. but cos too hot most of us stayed in e shelter. jacky gav us this dead coral. nice la. n showed us this sand that is in a shape of a star. special. nice.   late afternoon we went to tak ferry back. this woman came n pester jacky to buy her cuttlefish. but jacky already bought few bags.. she keep pestering him until we were about to board e ferry.. so funnie.. she so jian chi dao di. i stood all e way back.. e ferry is faster den e one tt brought us to e island. someone vomitted. eeek. den went to e jilai leisure farm. stay thr overnight. had bbq for dinner. stay in mongolian's yurts. mosquitoes everywhr. marcus offered us his insect repellent. lols.. same as mine lor. e bbq reallie a disappointment for every1. not used to this type of bbq food bah. i think marcus eat e most cos i keep seein him eat e beehoon. i help bbq.. face must be damn red. actually after going xiaoliuqiu.. everyne got tanned. jacky's face got super red lik lobster. marcus got red too.. he actually lik bai zhan chicken but now lik half roasted chicken.     after dinner.. and after resting.. some of us went out to sing karaoke. old songs la.. but still got she n yanzi n jay etc.. more pple came i got shy. din sing. jacky n marcus light up e wen2 xiang1.. so mosquitoes wun pester us. i went back rm to get something watch tv.. go out again w my family.. outside only left e couple. i sang ai zai xi yuan qian w e guy.. cos he don wan to sing alone. but e funny thg is he cant catch up e w words. ahaha... they sang until 11+.. i already inside rm. watching 18 jin bu jin.. funnie.. a ben is so cute.. watch until halfway got this worm w many legs drop btwn me n my sis. i jus stared at it.. xia dai le. n we had a faulty toilet.. so din had a good slp. air con nt cold too.Labels: Tour Thursday, June 07, 2007 @ 4:37 PM
Taiwan - Day 1 Singapore -> Kaoshiung  [din realise i captured our tour leader in this pic din even noe hez our ldr @ tt tym]      [fooling ard.. tt's my hand. e other one is e guy sitting in frnt of me who is also sm1 in our tour grp]reach kaoshiung in e evening. met our tour guide jacky wu [xiaowu] humorous guy.. we headed str to liuhe night market. our dinner. saw food.. yummy food.. weird food. we ate pai gu mian.. pai gu tang.. huge sotong.. chou toufu. fried fish w eggs. some pau.. dried preserved fish eggs. ai yu bing. blahs.. one hour is all we have. i love e choutoufu smell. den we went back to hotel. 3star de. i love e tv programmes thr.. 100 channels. marcus jus staying opp rm. xiaowu went back to his home. i love e food.. hahaha.. esp e fish n huazhi.. super nice. cant find such stuf in sg. and e tv programs. switch channels til u go crazy. cant decide which to watch cos too much choices.       to be contd..Labels: Tour |
